Esther Mwaiki Aluoch
She joined Centre for Peace and Nationhood in 2014 as a Project Field Officer in the Beyond Boarders Peace Initiative(BBPI) project, holding a Bachelor’s degree in social work and social administration from Busoga University in Uganda. Has attained trainings in peace building and conflict transformation, Trauma awareness, healing and reconciliation, international training program on Developing Civilian Peacebuilding Capacity from Africa Peace Building Institute (St. Augustine College) in South Africa and Peace Education, Truth-telling, reconciliation and restorative justice from Summer Peace Building Institute (Eastern Mennonite University) in U.S.A. She is very good at facilitating and working with different ethnic groups on various trainings involving Restorative justice, Violence and non-active violence, Early Childhood Development, Conflict transformation for out-of-school youth, school going children, teachers and parents. Prior to joining CPN she has had vast experience with various government and non-governmental organizations in Uganda and Kenya. She has passion and interest in Community work, Economic empowerment (Income generating activities), social work, Peace building and Conflict transformation issues.
