Dedicated Psychosocial Counselor and Safeguarding Liaison Person with strong experience supporting young mothers and vulnerable families in Mathare, Nairobi. Passionate about improving mental health, emotional well-being, and protection outcomes in underserved urban communities. Skilled in trauma-informed counseling, case management, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of  young mothers.

As a safeguarding focal person, I provide training and guidance on child protection, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, and reporting mechanisms to ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of all program participants. I work collaboratively with community health workers, local leaders, and partners to create a safe and inclusive environment, particularly for women and children exposed to violence, neglect, or displacement.
