Hijal Chambugowg

Volunteer – CPN

Hijal Chambugowg is a volunteer of MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) under YAMEN (Young Anabaptist Mennonite Exchange Network) Program. He is from Bangladesh but has been serving in Kenya for almost a year. He accomplished his bachelor’s degree in social science.  Along with his academic study, he did sorts of courses on project management, conflict resolution, peace building, Education, human rights, etc. He joined CPN (Centre for Peace and Nationhood) in April 2025 to assist the Peacebuilding project.

As a part of his work, he facilitates Peace club classes for adolescents in several schools. He really likes to work with children, adolescents, and youths. He is courageous and confident enough to do any social activities and community development work.

Besides work, he travels to many new places (such as mountains, ocean, forest, fountain, historical places, etc.) and plays musical instruments and makes various kinds of content. He wishes to contribute to this world by doing social work.
